Responsibility:
Chassis tuning and development of passenger cars [subjective & Objective evaluation] –Suspension tuning (damper, springs, anti-rollbar etc.), Electric Power Steering tuning & Tire Tuning
Experience in dynamics analysis software such as MATLAB, Simulink, Famos, CANape, CANoe, CAR Sim, SUS Sim etc.
Knowledge of Instrumentation, Execution and Analysis technique of ride and handling objective tests as per standards.
Excellent driving and vehicle evaluation skills along with proving ground driving experience
Testing and preparation of evaluation reports on recent competitor benchmark models launched in the market.
Able to Perform Various homologation test as per Indian & European standard related to vehicle dynamics.
Able to execute tests to diagnose objectively the concerns / improvements reported in subjective Evaluation.
Ascertain the subjective evaluation feelings and able to correlate with objective data.
Able to evolve recent test procedures derived from global standards to quantify VD handling objective metrics.
Involvement in CAE modelling and simulation analysis (Tires, Vehicle, steering etc) & chassis design principles including Kinematic and Compliance measurement,
Vehicle CAE model analysis –to meet the performance target.
Nature of Work Experience: -
Hands on experience on Steering Angle Sensor, Navigational Sensors, Steering Robot, V Box, Data loggers & accelerometers, CANape, CANoe Tools
.
Objective data accusation related to vehicle dynamics.
Knowledge about regulatory requirement related to vehicle dynamics.
Key Responsibilities: -
Will be responsible for vehicle level Subjective Development & objective testing related to VD
Will be responsible for meeting the regulatory requirement of current models related to VD
Competencies: -
Ability to work hands-on with testing equipment and instruments.
Operation and maintenance of Sensors & data loggers
Proficiency in CAD tools like UG, AUTOCAD.
Proficiency in analysis Software such as: FAMOS & others
Proving ground driving experience
Specific Competencies: -
Candidate with strong passion for cars, technology and engineering & with basic knowledge of CAE software (ADAMS / Car Sim etc.) will be preferred.
