Key Responsibilities
Design and develop new mechanical products and components using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
Prepare detailed manufacturing, assembly, and part drawings in accordance with engineering standards.
Support recent product development from concept through production.
Work closely with the Process Engineering team to ensure manufacturability and productive production.
Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs), engineering drawings, and design documentation.
Implement and manage Engineering Change Requests (ECR) and Engineering Change Orders (ECO).
Perform drawing revisions, corrections, and PPAP documentation updates.
Design tools, jigs, fixtures, and work-holding solutions for VMC machining operations.
Coordinate with production, quality, procurement, and manufacturing teams to resolve design and production issues.
Ensure compliance with company standards, quality requirements, and customer specifications.

Required Skills
Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical design and Recent Product Development (NPD).




Mandatory proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
Strong knowledge of Process Engineering and manufacturing processes.
Experience in engineering change management (ECR/ECO/ECN).
Good understanding of mechanical drafting and GD&T.;
Ability to perform drawing corrections and maintain engineering documentation.
Experience in designing tools, jigs, and fixtures for VMC machines.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills
Experience in RF connector design is an added advantage.
Familiarity with machining, CNC/VMC manufacturing processes, and production support.
Knowledge of DFM (Design for Manufacturability) and DFA (Design for Assembly) principles.

Qualification
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
