Job Summary
As a Senior Design Lead specializing in Component Cost Estimation using Boothroyd and SEER Galorath methodologies, you will be responsible for overseeing and leading the cost estimation process for various components in product designs. You will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate cost estimations to support decision-making processes and optimize overall product costs.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the component cost estimation process using boothroyd and seer galorath techniques to evaluate the costs associated with product components
Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather necessary data and inputs for accurate cost estimations
Analyze cost estimates and identify opportunities for cost optimization without compromising product quality
Develop and maintain cost estimation models, tools, and databases to streamline the estimation process
Present cost estimation findings and recommendations to key stakeholders and management




Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in component cost estimation methodologies
Skill Requirements
Proficiency in component cost estimation methodologies, specifically boothroyd and seer galorath
Solid analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify cost optimization prospects
Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross functional teams and present findings to stakeholders
