Key Responsibilities:
Deliver Packages: Safely transport and deliver packages to designated locations, ensuring they arrive on time and in positive condition.
Route Planning: Plan and optimize delivery routes for efficiency, taking into account traffic patterns and delivery times.
Customer Interaction: Communicate professionally with customers upon delivery, addressing any inquiries or issues they may have.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of deliveries made, including obtaining customer signatures and noting any special instructions.
Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure that the delivery vehicle is in positive working condition by regularly checking its maintenance and reporting any issues.
Adhere to Safety Standards:
Follow all safety guidelines and regulations while driving and delivering items to ensure personal and public safety.
Required Skills and Expectations:
Candidates must have a minimum education of 10th grade and can have up to 6 years of experience in delivery or related fields. Solid communication skills are essential for effective customer interaction. Candidates should be familiar with the Gurgaon area to aid in efficient route planning. A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are necessary. Dependability, attention to detail, and a positive attitude toward work are crucial for success in this role.
