About the Role:

We are looking for a Senior Backend Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and secure backend systems. The role involves developing microservices, APIs, and enterprise-grade applications while ensuring best practices in software development, testing, deployment, and team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain REST/gRPC microservices and APIs (internal & external).
Build backend components using Golang, Terraform, AWS, SQL/NoSQL.
Drive system performance, scalability, and security with high availability.
Collaborate in requirements analysis, architecture review, CI/CD implementation, and agile ceremonies.
Mentor junior developers, conduct peer code reviews, and maintain automated test coverage (TDD/BDD).
Ensure effective deployment, monitoring, and incident resolution.
Prepare technical documentation (APIs,



data dictionaries, design specs).

Critical Skill Set:
Languages & Frameworks: Golang, Protobuf, Terraform.
Backend Expertise: Microservices architecture, REST & GraphQL APIs, Partner integrations.
Databases: SQL & NoSQL (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Document Stores).
Cloud & DevOps: AWS (hands-on), Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code.
Messaging & Monitoring: Kafka, SQS/SNS, ActiveMQ, Prometheus, Splunk, Recent Relic, Opentelemetry.
Testing: TDD/BDD, automated unit & integration testing.
Soft Skills: Solid problem-solving, ownership mindset, agile experience, mentoring, and clear communication.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
5–7 years of backend development in B2B SaaS/enterprise applications.
AWS Certified Developer (preferred).
