We are looking for a detail-oriented Underwriting Assistant to support our Property & Casualty underwriting team. The ideal candidate will assist with the policy life cycle, risk assessment, and decision-making, ensuring compliance with internal guidelines and providing exceptional service to both internal and external stakeholders.

Experience: 1+ year in Property & Casualty underwriting (or relevant qualifications)
Skilled Qualifications: Completed or pursuing CPCU (Chartered Property Casualty
Underwriter) or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities
Evaluate and analyze insurance applications to determine risk and provide recommendations for underwriting decisions.
Utilize underwriting tools and systems to oversee each phase of the policy lifecycle.
Assist senior underwriters with tasks related to policy issuance, endorsements, renewals, and claims.
Ensure accuracy and meticulous attention to detail in all underwriting processes.




Communicate with internal teams and external parties to collect information, clarify requirements, and facilitate efficient workflow.
Compile and maintain documentation and reports for both internal use and regulatory compliance.
Process applications promptly to meet deadlines and satisfy client expectations.
Consistently provide outstanding customer service.
