Conduct assessments to identify developmental, cognitive, or learning delays.
Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each child’s specific needs.
Use multisensory and inclusive teaching strategies to support learning.
Track and document student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
Collaborate with speech therapists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and psychologists as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Guide and support parents/caregivers on how to reinforce learning at home.
Participate in team meetings, workshops, and training programs.
Foster a secure, engaging, and supportive learning workplace.
Requirements
Experience in early intervention or working at a child development centre.
Familiarity with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) tools.
Ability to plan group activities that support both academic and social development.
