Job Description:
Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise Software Asset Management (SAM) projects.
- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, milestones, budgets, risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Drive implementation and enhancement of ServiceNow SAM Pro and related modules.
- Coordinate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and define project scope.
- Manage project governance, steering committee meetings, status reporting, and executive updates.
- Work closely with SAM Analysts, Tool Configuration Specialists, Procurement teams, and technical teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Oversee software discovery, inventory, entitlement, reconciliation, compliance, and optimization workstreams.
- Ensure project deliverables are completed within agreed timelines, scope, budget, and quality standards.
- Manage project risks, issues, change requests, and mitigation plans.
- Coordinate vendor engagements, implementation partners, and third-party stakeholders.
- Monitor project KPIs, milestones, resource utilization, and overall project health.
- Facilitate workshops, requirement sessions, UAT, cutover planning, and go-live activities.
- Ensure proper project documentation, knowledge transfer, and transition to BAU support.
- Drive continuous process improvements and adoption of SAM best practices.
- Ensure compliance with organizational governance, audit, and security requirements.

Top 5 Technical Must-Haves * Strong experience managing Software Asset Management (SAM) projects.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow SAM Pro implementation or enhancement projects.
- Positive understanding of software licensing, entitlement management, reconciliation, compliance, and optimization.




- Experience integrating ServiceNow with enterprise tools such as CMDB, Discovery, SCCM/MECM, Intune, Jamf, Active Directory/Entra ID, and other inventory sources.
- Strong knowledge of ITSM, ITAM, CMDB, software asset lifecycle, and enterprise IT environments.

Top 5 Functional / Operational Must-Haves * Lead end-to-end project planning, execution, monitoring, governance, and successful delivery.
- Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, issues, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including IT, Procurement, Finance, Security, Infrastructure, Application Owners, and vendors.
- Drive project governance through steering committee meetings, status reporting, RAID management, and executive communication.
- Ensure successful UAT, deployment, go-live, hypercare, documentation, knowledge transfer, and transition to operations.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 10+ years of IT Project Management experience.
- Experience delivering ServiceNow SAM Pro or IT Asset Management projects.
- PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, Agile, or equivalent project management certification is preferred.
- Strong understanding of Software Asset Management and IT Asset Management processes.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Experience working with global, cross-functional teams in enterprise environments.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and drive projects to successful completion.
