Job Description:

Job Summary

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer with 5–7 years of experience in Vendor Development and Procurement activities. The ideal candidate should have strong exposure to new product development, costing, fabrication, subcontracting, and SAP-based procurement processes, along with the ability to manage intercompany coordination from quotation to dispatch.

Key Responsibilities
Handle intercompany business activities from quotation to dispatch.
Support recent product development (NPD) through vendor coordination.
Prepare estimations and costing for procurement and development activities.
Interpret and work with engineering drawings and manufacturing processes.
Coordinate effectively with intercompany teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
Manage procurement activities aligned with INCOTERMS and import/export procedures.
Conduct market research and analyze sales/material data to ensure product competitiveness.
Handle subcontracted items and fabrication-related sourcing.
Ensure compliance with relevant engineering standards such as ASTM, AISI, ANSI, DIN, etc.
Maintain documentation and reporting using SAP,



Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

Essential
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Effective communication skills in English.
Hands-on experience in vendor development and procurement processes.
Working knowledge of SAP.

Preferred
Experience in project-based or machine manufacturing industries.
Exposure to EOU (Export-Oriented Unit) settings.
