Job Descritpion of Data Build Tool Specialist

5 to 7 Years Relevant Experience

Key Responsibilities:
Manage data ingestion, transformation, and loading into Snowflake with a focus on data quality and performance.
Design and implement scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using dbt, following best industry practices.
Build and maintain data models in dbt including staging, intermediate, and mart layers to support reliable, reusable analytics.
Optimize data pipelines and queries, leveraging techniques such as clustering, partitioning, and query profiling.

Required Skills:
SQL Proficiency: Solid hands-on experience with SQL for querying, manipulation, and complex transformations.
dbt:



Proven experience in using dbt for building data models, managing transformations, and creating views.
Snowflake: Solid knowledge of Snowflake features and architecture, including performance optimization.
Data Modeling: Robust grasp of data warehousing concepts, star/snowflake schema, and modeling best practices.
ETL/ELT: Experience designing and implementing ELT/ETL processes.
Orchestration Tools: Familiarity with tools like Airflow or dbt Cloud for job orchestration and scheduling.
