Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and intellectually curious Audit Manager (IC) to join our Global Internal Audit team. This role focuses on delivering risk-based operational and technology audits enhanced through data analytics, artificial intelligence, and automation. The ideal candidate will apply a disciplined, analytical approach throughout the audit lifecycle—from planning to reporting—using advanced technologies to drive more effective and efficient assurance. This role demands strong critical thinking skills to evaluate evidence objectively, challenge assumptions, and distinguish between symptoms and root causes.
Key Responsibilities
• Plan and execute risk-based operational, compliance, technology, and financial audits in accordance with internal and professional standards, analyzing the relationship between business strategies and control effectiveness. Validate data completeness and accuracy, and perform testing on key controls. Apply critical thinking to assess the design and operating effectiveness of controls, evaluate management's responses to identified risks, and document results clearly, connecting data-driven findings to business risks.
• Apply data analytics, agentic AI, and automation tools throughout the complete audit lifecycle, including risk assessment, scoping, data-driven testing, and identification of unusual trends or patterns.
• Develop prompts and create new analytics while identifying and implementing automation opportunities within audit processes and business operations.
• Translate complex data insights and AI-generated findings into actionable, non-technical recommendations for management. Apply critical thinking to perform root cause analysis, evaluate the validity of AI outputs, and assess whether identified patterns represent genuine risks or anomalies. Draft clear audit findings for comprehensive reports.
• Manage assigned activities for simultaneous audit projects,
ensuring deadlines are met and escalating roadblocks to audit leadership.
• Maintain and build data literacy and AI proficiency through ongoing professional development, staying current with evolving audit practices, analytical tools, and artificial intelligence applications.
Required Abilities and Skills
• Problem Solving & Intellectual Curiosity: Natural desire to understand the "why" behind data patterns. Ability to define problems, propose technology-enabled solutions aligned with audit objectives, and independently pursue deeper understanding of business processes, data relationships, and emerging technologies.
• Critical Thinking & Professional Skepticism: Ability to objectively evaluate information from multiple sources, challenge underlying assumptions, identify logical inconsistencies, and distinguish correlation from causation. Apply professional skepticism when assessing AI-generated outputs and data-driven insights to ensure conclusions are sound and evidence-based.
• Data Analytics & AI Proficiency: Practical experience applying data analytics and AI tools in business or audit contexts, including data querying, visualization tools, statistical analysis, and agentic AI systems. Demonstrated ability to recognize and implement automation opportunities.
• Effective Communication (Verbal & Written): Ability to articulate the role of internal audit and translate complex data findings and AI-generated insights into digestible language for business stakeholders at all levels.
• Attention to Detail & Time Management: Meticulous execution of audit procedures, data analysis, and AI-assisted testing, ensuring accuracy and reliability in all work performed while balancing multiple priorities and thriving in a deadline-driven environment.
• Personal Courage & Professional Integrity: Upholding professional independence and objectivity principles while building collaborative relationships with business partners.
Education and Experience Required:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related business field.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to create clear documentation and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Minimum two years of internal audit experience focused on operational, strategic,
or technology audits with demonstrated application of data-driven methodologies.
• Practical experience applying data analytics and AI-powered tools in business or audit contexts, including data querying, visualization, and analytical techniques.
• Solid understanding of internal audit fundamentals and common risk and internal control frameworks (IIA, IPPF, COSO).
• Preferred: Experience with agentic AI systems and automation tool implementation.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools, statistical software, and audit technology platforms.
• Knowledge of commercial real estate operations.
• Relevant skilled certification in audit or accounting (CA, CPA, CIA, CISA), or demonstrated progress toward obtaining one.
• Additional certifications in data analytics, AI, or technology.
