Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer with strong expertise in S/4HANA Public Cloud environments. The candidate will be responsible for developing and enhancing applications while ensuring adherence to clean core principles and cloud extensibility standards.

Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and enhance ABAP programs in S/4HANA Public Cloud landscape
• Develop and manage RICEF objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms)
• Build and optimize Core Data Services (CDS views) and data models
• Develop and expose APIs/services using OData and REST-based frameworks
• Work on side-by-side extensions using SAP BTP
• Implement enhancements using BAdIs and in-app extensibility techniques
• Optimize performance using HANA-native capabilities (AMDP, SQL optimization, code pushdown)
• Develop and consume SAP HANA models, procedures, and APIs
• Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements




• Ensure adherence to SAP clean core and upgrade-safe development practices
• Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance

Skill Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications
• 6–8 years of strong SAP ABAP development experience
• Minimum 2+ years of S/4HANA experience
• Exposure to S/4HANA Public Cloud or RISE with SAP
• Strong expertise in OO ABAP & recent syntax
• CDS Views, AMDP, BRF+
• OData services / APIs
• ABAP Development Tools (ADT – Eclipse/HANA Studio)
• Performance tuning using HANA pushdown techniques
• Knowledge of Clean Core & extensibility models
• Hands-on with native SQL, ADBC, HANA procedures
• Understanding of integration (IDOCs, APIs, BTP Integration Suite)

Good to Have
• Experience with SAP BTP (Extension Suite, CAP, RAP model)
• Exposure to Fiori/UI5 applications
• Understanding of cloud security and authorization concepts
• SAP certifications in ABAP / S/4HANA / BTP

• Client-facing experience preferred

Key Differentiators
• Experience with S/4HANA Public Cloud restrictions (no classic modifications)
