Position Overview
Our Product Managers are passionate about shaping the future of design and engineering. We serve as the critical link between customer needs, business strategy, platform architecture, and execution. We translate complex problems into scalable platform capabilities that unlock innovation across ecosystems. In this role, you will focus on the Fusion Data Platform, driving the strategy and execution of data services that power the Design-to-Make lifecycle. You will define how data is structured, accessed, governed, and leveraged—enabling internal teams, partners, and developers to build rich, data-driven workflows and applications. This role requires a strong mix of platform thinking, data fluency, and product leadership. You will work at the intersection of APIs, data infrastructure, analytics, and developer ecosystems to transform data into a strategic asset for Autodesk and its customers.
Responsibilities
• Define and drive the vision for Fusion’s data services and platform capabilities
• Identify opportunities to unlock value from data across the Design-to-Make ecosystem
• Establish principles for data modeling, interoperability, governance, and scalability
• Define product requirements for data services (APIs, pipelines, storage, metadata, analytics)
• Own and prioritize the platform/data services roadmap and backlog
• Balance short-term delivery with long-term platform scalability and extensibility
• Represent internal and external developers, partners, and end-users as the voice of the customer
• Enable partners to build on Fusion through robust APIs, SDKs, and data access patterns
• Drive adoption and success of the Fusion developer ecosystem
• Use data and analytics to inform product decisions and measure platform success
• Define and track key metrics for data usage, platform adoption, and ecosystem growth
• Partner with data engineering and analytics teams to enable insights and intelligence use cases
• Collaborate with Engineering, Architecture, UX, Data Engineering, and GTM teams
• Drive alignment across teams on data standards, services, and integration patterns
• Lead integration of data services across internal products and third-party applications
• Guide the integration of new technologies (e.g., data pipelines, real-time services, AI/ML readiness)
• Ensure platform supports secure, scalable, and high-performance data access
• Influence platform decisions around APIs, eventing, storage, and data lifecycle management
• Contribute to pricing, packaging, and platform monetization strategies
• Support go-to-market efforts for platform capabilities and data services
Minimum Qualifications
• 3+ years of experience in Product Management in platform, SaaS, or data-centric products, over 8 years of experience total.
• Strong understanding of data platforms, APIs, and distributed systems
• Background in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field
• Experience working with data services (e.g., APIs, ETL pipelines, data modeling, analytics platforms)
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, design, and business teams
• Robust analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders globally
• Experience building or managing developer platforms or ecosystems
• Familiarity with cloud data architectures (e.g., AWS/GCP/Azure data services)
• Exposure to real-time data systems, event-driven architectures, or AI/ML data pipelines
• Understanding of data governance, privacy, and security best practices
• Experience in CAD, manufacturing, or design-related domains is a plus
