About the role
Job Summary
The Field Service Engineer is responsible for providing technical advice to customers and supervise overhauling / troubleshooting of turbomachinery equipment such as Compressors, Turbines and other rotating equipment. This role ensures high-quality service delivery and supports customer satisfaction through technical expertise and problem resolution. This job profile is intended for experienced professionals who apply practical knowledge of a job area and work independently with general supervision.

Duties and Responsibilities
1. Hands-on Experience of working on critical equipment such as Steam Turbine / different type of Compressors (Axial, Radial, Screw) is Must.
2. Basic knowledge/experience on Pumps, GT and Expander is added advantage.
3. Ensure technical correctness of the activities performed under his guidance / supervision.
4. Supervision / Execution / Expedite the Site Activity for overhauling of Rotating Equipment.
5. Planning of site activity and ensure on time completion.
6. Experience to manage site team from sub-supplier deployed by Sulzer or customer.
7.



Maintain the safety standard among the working team and cultivate safety culture in the team.
8. Coach / Guide junior or contractor engineer to perform first time right activity.
9. Understanding the customer/site technical requirement for business and provide solutions.
10. Estimate site requirement of Manpower, Tools & tackles, other site support.
11. Project related documentation / report preparation.
12. Overall knowledge of different industry Process.
13. Search for an opportunity related to other Turbo Machinery services with all Customers.
14. Good Customer contact and basic sales efforts for generating enquiries for TM service.
15. Techno-commercial discussions with customers for scope derivation to finalization of contracts. Extend all the efforts to achieve the given target.

Desired experience and qualifications
Work experience : 4-5 Years or more from Turbo Machinery Industry
Expertise (e.g. professional, technical) : Compressors and Turbines.
Education:
Level: BE / Diploma
Subject : Mechanical
Languages: Hindi / English
Soft skills: Micro soft Office / ERP
Other: Excellent communication skills / High Energy Level / Interpersonal skills / Ability to Learn and Demonstrate effectiveness / Risk evaluation and Mitigation.
