Job Summary
Responsibilities
Backend (Primary)
• Design, build, and optimize REST services in Golang for scalable, secure workloads.
• Implement data models, repository patterns, and performant SQL for Amazon RDS (PostgreSQL); handle transactions, migrations, and indexing.
• Integrate with S3 for secure object lifecycle (multipart uploads, retention, lifecycle policies).
• Develop event-driven components with AWS Lambda (Go), SQS/SNS, step functions (nice-to-have).
• Containerize services with Docker and deploy on EC2 (EKS exposure is a plus).
• Implement observability: structured logs, metrics, and traces (CloudWatch).
• Ensure security best practices (IAM roles/policies, KMS encryption, VPC, SGs, parameter secrets).
Frontend (Secondary)
• Build and maintain UI modules using Angular, consume server APIs, handle auth flows, and state management.
• Collaborate on UX for data-heavy views, tables, filters, and async workflows.
DevEx/Process
• Own CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline/ CodeBuild) including build, test, security checks, and deployment.
• Write unit/integration tests (Go test), contract tests for APIs.
• Participate in agile ceremonies, maintain technical documentation and runbooks.
Required Qualifications
• Experience: 4–6 years in software development; 3+ years in Golang (professional).
• Golang: Goroutines, channels, contexts, interfaces, error handling, dependency injection, clean architecture.
• AWS: Hands-on with S3, RDS (Postgres), Lambda, EC2, EKS, CloudWatch, IAM; VPC basics (subnets/NAT/IGW).
• PostgreSQL: Schema design, query optimization (EXPLAIN/ANALYZE), transactions, indexing,



connection pooling.
• APIs: REST best practices (idempotency, pagination, rate limits, versioning); Proficiency with Go frameworks (chi, gin).
• Security: OAuth flows, secret management (Secrets Manager), input validation, OWASP awareness.
• CI/CD & Containers: Docker, pipeline scripting, environment promotion, feature flags.
• Frontend: Practical experience in Angular (routing, forms, build tooling).
• Testing: Unit/integration tests in Go; frontend testing exposure preferred.
• Soft Skills: Clear communicator, proactive ownership, can collaborate with architects and product owners.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead the development and design of scalable golang applications and solutions.
2. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the development team.
3. Collaborate with cross functional teams to define technical roadmaps and identify opportunities for process improvement.
4. Ensure code quality, performance, and security standards are met throughout the development lifecycle.
5. Participate in code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and provide solutions to technical challenges.
6. Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in golang development to drive innovation within the team.
Skill Requirements
1. Proficiency in golang programming language with a strong understanding of its core concepts and best practices.
2. Experience designing and architecting golang based applications and microservices.
3. Handson experience with cloud technologies and containerization platforms (e.g., docker, kubernetes).
4. Solid understanding of software development methodologies and agile practices.
5. Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
6. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
7. Experience with relational and nosql databases for data persistence in golang applications.
Other Requirements
1. Golang certification or relevant technical certifications are a plus.
