About the Role

This role is for a Hyperion implementation consultant who can own delivery across Oracle Hyperion Essbase, EPBCS, and PBCS projects. The focus is on end-to-end implementation work, from understanding business requirements and designing the solution to configuration, testing, deployment, and support. For the Sr. Consultant level, the role also expects stronger ownership of client conversations, issue resolution, and project execution. The job is suited to someone who can work across planning, budgeting, forecasting, and related finance transformation use cases. The right person will bring hands-on implementation depth, practical problem solving, and the ability to help teams move programs forward with limited supervision.

Key Responsibilities

- Own end-to-end Hyperion implementation work across Essbase, EPBCS, and PBCS, from requirements discovery through design, build, testing, and go-live. The impact is dependable delivery of planning solutions that meet client expectations.




- Translate business planning and finance requirements into solution design, configuration, and implementation choices. This ensures the platform supports budgeting, forecasting, and reporting outcomes without avoidable rework.
- Lead or support client discussions on solution scope, implementation progress, issues, and dependencies. The lever is clear communication, which helps maintain alignment and keep delivery on track.
- Troubleshoot configuration, data, and process issues during implementation and support phases. The impact is a more stable solution with fewer delays and faster resolution of delivery blockers.
- Support testing cycles, defect management, and user readiness activities. This improves deployment quality and reduces risk during cutover and post-go-live adoption.
- For Sr. Consultant scope, guide junior team members and help coordinate work within the implementation team. This strengthens delivery consistency and improves team throughput on active projects.

Essential Skills & Technologies

- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Hyperion Essbase, EPBCS, and PBCS implementation. This is the core requirement and must be demonstrated through real project delivery.
- Proven ability to deliver at least 2–5 end-to-end Hyperion implementations, depending on level. The expectation is practical implementation depth, not just tool exposure.
- Good understanding of planning, budgeting, forecasting, and finance transformation workflows. This helps ensure the solution is built around business outcomes rather than isolated technical tasks.
- Experience in requirement gathering, solution design,



configuration, testing, and deployment. These skills are needed to own the implementation lifecycle with minimal dependency.
- Strong problem-solving and issue-resolution skills across data, configuration, and process challenges. This improves implementation stability and reduces time lost to blockers.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for working with business users, finance teams, and project stakeholders. This supports smoother execution and clearer decision-making.
- Ability to work in a hybrid delivery model across Hyderabad, Chennai, and Pune. This helps coordinate work flexibly while staying aligned with project needs.

Additional Plus

- Experience supporting multiple Hyperion modules or related Oracle planning components is a plus. It adds flexibility when projects need broader platform coverage.
