The Chance:This is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving engineering vision, product execution, architecture, and team leadership across multiple technology functions.You will work closely with the CTO, Product, Design, Data, and Business teams to build highly scalable, secure, and resilient platforms while leading high-performing engineering teams.This role is ideal for leaders who have successfully built and scaled consumer-facing technology platforms in high-growth fintech or product organizations.Key Responsibilities:Engineering Leadership:- Lead and scale multiple Full Stack engineering teams across Web, Mobile, Backend, and Platform Engineering.- Define engineering strategy, technical roadmap, and execution plans aligned with business objectives.- Build a culture of innovation, engineering excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.Architecture & Technology:- Drive scalable, secure, and high-performance system architecture.- Lead architecture reviews and technology decisions across frontend, backend, cloud, APIs, databases, and distributed systems.- Ensure systems are designed for scalability, reliability, security, and maintainability.Product Delivery:- Partner closely with Product, Design,



and Business teams to deliver high-impact customer experiences.- Drive agile execution and ensure timely delivery of complex engineering initiatives.- Balance speed of execution with engineering quality and platform stability.Team Leadership:- Hire, mentor, and develop engineering managers and senior engineers.- Build leadership capability and succession plans within the engineering organization.- Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performance engineering culture.Engineering Excellence:- Establish engineering best practices, coding standards, CI/CD, DevOps, testing automation, and release management.- Drive continuous improvements in engineering productivity, quality, and operational excellence.- Champion observability, security, performance optimization, and incident management.Stakeholder Management:- Collaborate with Product, Analytics, Risk, Compliance, and Business stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable technology solutions.- Present engineering updates, roadmaps, and key metrics to executive leadership.What We're Looking For:- 1218 years of software engineering experience with 5+ years leading engineering teams.- Proven experience leading engineering for consumer-facing fintech, banking, payments, wealthtech, or high-scale product companies.- Strong hands-on foundation in Full Stack development with the ability to guide architecture and technical decisions.- Experience building and scaling distributed systems serving millions of users.- Demonstrated success leading large engineering organizations through rapid growth.
