Requirements of the role:

Essential:

- QA Experience - Skilled in manual and automated testing within agile environments.
- Technical Expertise - Proficient in automation tools (Selenium, Cypress.io) and scripting (Java, Python, Java Script).
- Testing Methodologies - Familiar with black-box testing, regression testing, BDD frameworks, and Cucumber.
- System & Database Knowledge - Basic understanding of RESTful APIs, relational databases, SQL, and CI/CD tools.
- Defect Management - Experience with device/browser testing and defect tracking using JIRA.
- Web Technologies & Communication - Practical knowledge of HTML, CSS, Java Script, and solid documentation skills.

Desirable:

- Security & Performance Testing - Understanding of security testing practices, best practices in software security, and performance testing tools.
- QA Mindset & Testing Techniques - Critical thinking, attention to detail, and exposure to usability and UX testing.
- Automation & Monitoring - Experience automating web application tests
- Database Testing - Basic knowledge or exposure to relational database testing, including Azure SQL Database.
