Job Title: Dev Ops Director

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Dev Ops Director to lead our Dev Ops strategy, ensuring operational excellence, cost optimization, and business growth. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise and business acumen, including Profit & Loss (P&L;) management, presales, project management, and performance management.

The ideal candidate will drive infrastructure automation, streamline CI/CD processes, and enhance system reliability while aligning Dev Ops practices with overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop scalable, secure, and reliable Dev Ops architectures and frameworks to support development and deployment activities.
- Design cloud-native and hybrid solutions leveraging platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Participate in customer meetings, RFP responses, and technical presentations
- Collaborate with sales and solution engineering teams to support presales activities
- Ensure on-time and on-budget delivery of Dev Ops initiatives.
- Build and lead a high-performing Dev Ops team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Set and monitor KPIs for Dev Ops engineers, ensuring high performance and accountability.
- Manage and optimize budgets for Dev Ops tools, cloud infrastructure, and operations.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities through automation, cloud optimization, and vendor negotiations.




- Track and analyse financial performance metrics, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Provide financial insights to executive leadership for strategic decision-making.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Cloud Formation, or Ansible.
- Automate provisioning, configuration management, and monitoring.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Git Lab CI/CD, Git Hub Actions, or Azure Dev Ops.
- Integrate testing, security, and compliance checks into deployment pipelines.
- Architect containerized applications using Docker or Podman.
- Manage and optimize Kubernetes or other container orchestration platforms
- Mentor and guide teams on Dev Ops best practices and tooling.
- Integrate Dev SecOps practices into the software development lifecycle.
- Ensure systems meet security, performance, and regulatory compliance requirements.

Required:

- Proven experience as a Dev Ops Architect or in a similar role.
- Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Hands-on experience with IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, Cloud Formation).
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git Lab, Git Hub Actions).
- Expertise in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration.
- Experience with monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, ELK, Datadog).
- Solid programming/scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar).
- Strong knowledge of networking, security, and system administration.
