1. ROLE PURPOSE
The Senior Executive is the primary owner of execution for assigned clients and processes.
The role involves:
End-to-end accounting ownership
Preparation of MIS
Compliance execution
Preliminary tax & litigation support
Review of work done by executives / trainees

2. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
A. Accounting Ownership
Independently handle books of assigned clients (Tally/ ERP)
Ledger scrutiny and month-end closures
Preparation & review of:
Bank reconciliations
Debtor / creditor reconciliations
Provisions & accruals
Prepaid entries
Depreciation and Amortization
Fixed asset accounting
Ensuring maker-checker controls

B. MIS & Reporting
Preparation of monthly MIS packs:
P&L;
Balance Sheet
Cash flow
KPI dashboards
Variance analysis with commentary
Budget vs actual workings

C. Compliance Execution
GST workings & reconciliations
TDS computations
Support in filing Income Tax returns and forms under Income Tax Act
Filing of TDS returns and rectifications.
Preparation of workings and schedules:
Tax audits
Statutory audits
Support in ROC compliances under Companies Act 2013
Maintaining compliance calendar

D. Tax & Litigation Support
Assistance in:
Tax workings
Structuring notes
Preparation of:
Replies to notices
Data submissions
Reconciliations
Coordination with consultants

Team & Review
Review work of Executives / Trainees
Guide juniors on accounting & reconciliations
Ensure quality & timelines
Maintain task trackers

F. Client Coordination
First level client SPOC
Follow-ups for data
Responding to routine queries
Attending calls with AM/Manager
Drafting emails & workings

G. Process & Automation
Maintain SOP adherence
Improving Excel formats
Suggesting automation ideas
Proper documentation & filing

3. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Semi-Qualified CA OR Commerce Graduate/Post Graduate
2-5 years' experience in accounting & finance
Articleship exposure preferred
