Job Description for AEM developer with React headless architecture developer with 6-8 years experience :
We are seeking an experienced AEM Developer with strong expertise in AEM Headless architecture, React integration, and Liquid templating. The candidate will be responsible for building scalable, reusable components and integrating AEM content with up-to-date frontend applications using GraphQL APIs.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain AEM-based web applications using AEM 6.5 / AEM as a Cloud Service
Design and implement Headless CMS solutions using AEM Content Fragments and GraphQL APIs
Integrate AEM with React-based frontend applications
Build dynamic and reusable UI components using Liquid templates
Work on Content Fragment Models (CFMs) and structured content delivery
Consume AEM data via GraphQL APIs and map it to frontend components
Customize and extend AEM components using HTL (Sightly), Sling Models, and OSGi services
Collaborate with UI/UX and frontend teams for seamless integration
Ensure performance optimization, accessibility (WCAG), and responsive design
Participate in code reviews, deployments, and release planning
Troubleshoot and resolve production and integration issues
Required Skills
Strong experience in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM 6.5 / AEMaaCS)
Good understanding of AEM Headless Architecture
Strong frontend experience with React.js
Experience in Liquid templates (for dynamic rendering of components)
Proficiency in:
Java, Sling Models, OSGi, JCR
HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript
Experience with REST APIs integration
Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps
Good to Have
Experience with Next.js
Knowledge of AEM Dispatcher configuration
Experience in performance tuning & caching strategies
Understanding of SEO and accessibility standards
Exposure to multi-site architecture and reusable component libraries
