Job Description – Quantity Surveyor (Joinery)

Position: Quantity Surveyor – Joinery
Location: Royse Furniture Satellite Office, Trivandrum, Kerala, India
Salary: From ₹3 LPA (Based on experience and qualifications)

About the Role

Royse Furniture is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor (Joinery) to join our Satellite Office in Trivandrum. The ideal candidate should have experience in joinery, interior fit-out, furniture, or construction projects and possess strong analytical and commercial skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare quantity take-offs from architectural and shop drawings.
- Review tender documents, BOQs, and project specifications.
- Prepare cost estimates and budgets for joinery and interior fit-out projects.
- Calculate material quantities and prepare cost analyses.
- Coordinate with the Design, Estimation, Procurement, and Project teams.
- Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Assist in pre-contract and post-contract quantity surveying activities.
- Monitor project costs and prepare periodic cost reports.
- Prepare and evaluate variation orders and claims.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and reports.

Requirements

- Minimum 4 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the joinery, furniture,



interior fit-out, or construction industry.
- Diploma or B.Tech/B.E. in Civil Engineering or any other relevant qualification.
- Good knowledge of quantity take-offs, BOQs, estimation, and costing.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and shop drawings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and AutoCAD. Knowledge of estimation software will be an added advantage.
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in joinery and interior fit-out projects.
- Knowledge of procurement, contract administration, and cost control.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a rapid-paced environment.
