Job Summary

A fast-growing logistics company is hiring a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics Executive to strengthen its transportation network and supplier relationships. The role involves coordinating with transporters, maintaining a verified logistics database, negotiating freight rates, and ensuring smooth supplier-side logistics operations.

This position requires regular travel between Ahmedabad and Morbi and offers excellent learning and growth opportunities opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Transport & Supplier Coordination

- Build and maintain strong relationships with transporters, fleet owners, and logistics partners.
- Attend transporter and fleet owner meetings in Ahmedabad and Morbi.
- Verify transporter credentials, statutory compliance, and market reputation.
- Coordinate effectively between suppliers, transport partners, and internal teams.
- Resolve logistics issues to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Database Management

- Create and maintain a comprehensive transporter and supplier database.
- Ensure all records are complete, verified, and updated in the company’s system.
- Maintain accurate vendor information and identify opportunities for operational improvement.

Negotiation & Documentation

- Negotiate freight rates and transportation agreements with vendors.
- Prepare, verify, and maintain logistics documentation, including invoices, consignment notes, challans, and related records.




- Ensure documentation is accurate and compliant with company standards.

Business Coordination

- Coordinate with operations and sales teams for timely shipment execution.
- Share regular shipment updates and proactively resolve issues.
- Submit mandatory end-of-day reports.
- Suggest process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

Training Program

Months 1–6

- 15 days per month training at the Morbi Head Office.
- Practical exposure to logistics operations, warehouse management, transport coordination, and supplier management.

Months 7–12

- 7 days per month at the Morbi Head Office for advanced operational training and process refinement.

Candidate Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline preferred.
- Experience in Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain, or Vendor Coordination is preferred.
- Freshers with excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Good documentation and record-keeping abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Email, and basic computer applications.
- Willingness to travel regularly between Ahmedabad and Morbi.
- Strong communication, follow-up, and organizational skills.

Compensation
