Job Summary

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Chemist – R&D; to develop and improve Skin Care and Hair Care products. The candidate will be responsible for formulation development, product trials, stability studies, documentation, and supporting the commercialization of new products.

Roles & Responsibilities

Product Development

- Develop recent Skin Care and Hair Care formulations based on market trends and customer requirements.
- Conduct research on new ingredients, actives, and formulation technologies.
- Improve existing products to enhance performance, stability, and quality.

Formulation Development

- Select suitable raw materials, active ingredients, and preservatives.
- Optimize formulations for texture, appearance, fragrance, and stability.

Testing & Validation

- Conduct stability studies and compatibility testing.
- Evaluate product performance and recommend improvements.
- Support scale-up activities from lab trials to commercial production.




- Troubleshoot formulation and manufacturing-related issues.

Documentation & Compliance

- Maintain formulation records, trial reports, and technical documentation.
- Prepare SOPs, specifications, and batch manufacturing records.
- Ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.

Production & Quality Support

- Coordinate with Production, QA, and QC teams during product development and manufacturing.
- Support batch trials and process validation activities.
- Assist in resolving product quality and formulation-related concerns.
- Perform laboratory trials and evaluate formulation performance.

Requirements

- B.Sc / M.Sc Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Industrial Chemistry, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in Cosmetic, Personal Care, Herbal, or FMCG Product Development.

Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
