Responsibilities and Duties of a Health and Safety Supervisor

- Provide health and safety measures in a working environment
- Support staff with the identification of environmental aspects and determining the project objectives and target
- Identify and evaluate the unsafe workplace and practices
- Identify the root causes of safety and industrial hygiene
- Develop hazard control processes, methods and programs
- Recommend solutions to issues that need improvement
- Led to successful Safety execution of Project
- Check all legal document & requirement
- Issuing daily work permit.
- Safety poster and publication
- Cerebrating national safety week
- Organize motivation & awards program for workers
- Daily site supervision & check hazards activities in site working area & take action
- Organize Safety Committee meeting to Site Staff.
- conduct safety induction training of staff or workers
- Conduct TBT (Tool Box Talk) daily.
- Making Safety environment on Site
- Prepare weekly, monthly safety report & daily hazard observation report
- Advise the management for implementing the Safety policy of the company.
- Advice the management for procure adequate PPE.




- Making the planning of work as per safety. Make the safety method statement of Façade work activity.
- Maintain occupational health center & keep record of employees.
- Update all activity’s Safety check list.
- Prepare & update on site emergency managements plans & conducts safety drill.
- Investigate all accidents & near miss incident & suggest preventive measures.
- Colour coding of lifting gears
- aware the worker about housekeeping
- Prepare method statement, job safety analysis, risk assessment.
- Cary out safety inspection of site & the Residential camp observe & identification of hazardous condition of work.
- To conduct daily inspection of :- PPE , Scaffolding, Creedal & Ladder, Full Body Safety Harness, Welding M/C & Grinding M/C, Gas Cutting Set, Electrical panel, ELCB & Cable Heavy Equipment, Lifting Tools & Tackle, DG set, Crane & Hydra
