¶ Job Description-Architects are involved in every phase of a building project, from initial concept through completion. They collaborate with clients, engineers, and contractors to bring architectural visions to life, ensuring that structures meet the needs of clients and the community.

¶ Key Responsibilities:-

1. Client Consultation & Planning:-

- Meet with clients to understand their needs, preferences, budget, and timeline.
- Provide preliminary cost and construction time estimates.
- Discuss potential challenges that could affect the project.

2. Design Development:-

- Draft initial design sketches and models.
- Collaborate with clients to finalize designs.
- Ensure designs comply with zoning laws, building codes, and safety regulations.

3. Documentation & Technical Drawings

- Prepare detailed drawings showing both the appearance and interior structure of a building project.
- Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to produce construction documents.
- Coordinate with engineers and other professionals to integrate structural, mechanical, and electrical elements into the design.

4. Project Management

- Direct staff in the development of project drawings, studies, and budgets.
- Prepare work contracts for building subcontractors.
- Manage construction contracts and oversee the construction process to ensure adherence to architectural plans.

5. Site Visits & Compliance





- Visit worksites to ensure that construction adheres to architectural plans.
- Ensure that the building meets the required safety standards and offers proper access to those with disabilities.
