Job Title: Sr. Estimation/Tendering Engineer

Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Estimation/Tendering Engineer having basic experience analysing tenders/project enquiries for the window/façade industry, prepare cost analysis for enquiries, submitting tenders/quotations with proper documentation and compliances etc. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in financial management, and familiarity with construction/window-façade manufacturing or manufacturing industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

● Tendering & Bidding: ○ Analyse tender documents, specifications, and drawings to understand project scope and requirements.

○ Prepare and submit competitive bids and proposals within deadlines.

○ Coordinate with internal teams to gather necessary technical and commercial inputs.

● Estimation: ○ Prepare accurate cost estimates for façade systems (aluminium, glass, cladding, etc.).

○ Identify material, labour, and installation costs using current market rates.

○ Conduct value engineering to suggest cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.

● Vendor Coordination: ○ Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to gather quotations and pricing.

○ Maintain a database of material and labour rates for ongoing and future reference.

● Collaboration: ○ Work closely with sales, design, procurement, and project teams to ensure feasibility of bids.





○ Participate in pre-bid and post-bid discussions as required.

● Documentation & Reporting: ○ Maintain proper documentation of all tenders, estimates, and pricing data.

○ Prepare comparison sheets and analysis reports for management review.

Qualifications:

● Education: Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related technical field.

● Experience: 5-7 years of experience tendering/estimation, preferably in the façade, construction or manufacturing industry.

● Skills: o Sound understanding of façade materials, systems, and installation techniques.

o Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation/tendering tools.

o Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

o Strong communication and negotiation skills

o Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Key Competencies:

● Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in managing costing sheets, tender documentations and submissions to clients.

● Time Management: Ability to handle tendering tasks within tight deadlines.

● Analytical Thinking: Robust ability to analyse tender drawings, BOQs, material costs/quotations, manufacturing and installation methods.

● Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with department seniors, procurement teams, project managers and project engineers.

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
