MSBI Developer

Job Summery:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced MSBI Developer/Analyst with expertise in Power BI to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Microsoft Business Intelligence (MSBI) technologies and a proven track record of designing, developing, and maintaining BI solutions. In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, design data models, create reports and dashboards using Power BI,



and support data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

- Data Integration and ETL Development: Design, develop, and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes using SQL
Server Integration Services (SSIS) to extract data from various sources and load it into data warehouses.
- Data Modeling: Create and maintain data models using SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) to support multidimensional and tabular data structures.
- Power BI Development: Design and develop interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI to provide insights to business users.
- Data Warehousing: Collaborate with the data warehousing team to optimize data warehouse design and performance.
- Data Analysis: Perform data analysis and ad-hoc queries to support business needs and troubleshoot data issues.
- Documentation: Document ETL processes, data models, and report specifications to ensure knowledge transfer and maintainability.
- Performance Tuning: Monitor and optimize the performance of MSBI solutions and Power BI reports to ensure productive data processing.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, data scientists, and IT professionals, to understand business requirements and deliver effective BI
solutions.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an MSBI Developer/Analyst or similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS.
- Strong SQL querying skills.
- Expertise in Power BI for data visualization.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
- Relevant certifications in MSBI, Power BI, or related fields (optional).
