Looking for a UI/UX Designer role at ColoredCow?

You arrived here looking for a UI/UX Designer position. We want to be straight with you: we paused this role earlier this year to rethink it for the AI era, and we’ve now split it into two more specific roles.

When this posting was first written, “UI/UX Designer” covered everything — research, interaction design, visual execution, prototyping, design systems. AI has changed what scarce skill actually means in this work. Production design — layouts, variations, visual exploration — has compressed dramatically with tools like v0, Claude, Figma AI, Stitch, UX Pilot. What stays scarce, and what we hire for, is design judgment: which design to produce, why this direction, and whether it moves the business outcome our clients actually care about. So the role split.

Which of the two fits depends on where you are in your career:





- Founding Designer — senior/experienced track (3-7 years). Builds the design function from scratch alongside the founder. Sets the frame, doesn’t operate inside one someone else built. ₹10-15L per annum, Gurgaon (with hillside office options).
- Product Designer (Junior + Internship) — junior + stipended internship track. UX and product execution alongside the design function lead, with AI-augmented design from Day 1. ₹5-8L per annum (junior) or ₹15-25K/month + relocation supplement (internship).
