Window Installer - uPVC & Aluminium

Role Summary

Responsible for fabrication support and in office installation of uPVC and Aluminium windows, doors, and related glazing work as per drawings and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Measurement & Prep: Take site measurements, check openings for level, plumb, and squareness before installation

- Installation: Fix uPVC & Aluminium frames for sliding, casement, tilt-turn, and fixed windows. Install glass, beading, gaskets, and hardware

- Sealing & Finishing: Apply silicone, foam, and weather seals. Ensure no water leakage or air gaps

- Hardware Fitting: Install handles, locks, hinges, rollers and test smooth operation

- QC & Safety: Check for alignment, smooth shutter movement, and proper locking. Follow safety norms, use PPE, and maintain clean work area

- Coordination: Work with site supervisor, masons,



and electricians. Report material requirements and damages

- Handover: Clean glass and frames. Do final checks and demonstrate operation to client

Requirements

- Experience: 2-4 years hands-on experience in uPVC/Aluminium window installation preferred

- Skills: Knowledge of cutting, drilling, riveting, leveling tools, silicone gun. Ability to read basic drawings

- Physical: Comfortable working at heights with scaffolding/ladder

- Education: 10th pass + ITI preferred. On-job training accepted

- Tools: Own tools for installation

Work Type: Site-based, full-time

Reporting to: Site Supervisor

Pay: From ₹20,000.00 per month
