Role Overview

Responsible for carrying out fermentation and cell culture operations for bacterial and yeast processes. The role involves operating bioreactors, monitoring critical parameters, and ensuring GMP-compliant production.

Key Responsibilities

Upstream Processing (Fractionation & Fermentation)

- Assist in executing bacterial and yeast fermentation processes as per SOPs.

- Support plasma fractionation using standard protocols.





- Operate or assist with USP equipment such as:

- Centrifuges

- Filter Press Units

- Bioreactors/Fermenters

- Perform CIP & SIP operations under supervision.

- Monitor and learn process automation tools like SCADA/DCS.

- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with GMP standards.

Requirements

Skills & Competencies

- Basic understanding of USP (training provided).

- Interest in working in a GMP-regulated manufacturing setting.

- Strong learning capability and willingness to work hands‑on.

- Good communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

-
M.Sc in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology.

OR

- B.E / B.Tech in Biotechnology

- Experience level: 1 - 3 years
