Job Summary

The MEP Site Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) activities at the project site. The role ensures that MEP works are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with project specifications, quality standards, and statutory requirements. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in commercial interior fit-out and workplace design & build projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end execution of MEP works for commercial interior fit-out projects.
- Coordinate Mechanical, Electrical, Fire Fighting, Plumbing, HVAC, ELV, and IBMS installations.
- Review MEP drawings, BOQs, specifications, and identify design or execution issues before commencement.
- Prepare project schedules and monitor daily progress against planned milestones.
- Coordinate with architects, designers, consultants, clients, vendors, and subcontractors for smooth project execution.
- Ensure compliance with approved drawings, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Conduct daily site inspections and monitor workmanship and installation quality.
- Resolve technical issues and provide effective solutions during execution.
- Manage subcontractors, manpower deployment, materials, and equipment at site.
- Verify contractor bills, material reconciliation, and work measurements.
- Ensure timely procurement and availability of MEP materials and equipment.
- Coordinate testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
- Prepare daily, weekly,



and monthly project progress reports.
- Attend client meetings, site coordination meetings, and consultant reviews.
- Ensure project documentation is maintained accurately throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor project costs and support budget control initiatives.
- Ensure zero safety violations and adherence to company HSE policies.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
- 8–12+ years of experience in MEP project execution.
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing commercial office interior fit-out or Design & Build projects.
- Experience handling multiple stakeholders and rapid-track projects is preferred.

Technical Skills

- Strong knowledge of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, ELV, and Building Services.
- Ability to interpret MEP drawings and coordinated services drawings.
- Knowledge of relevant Indian standards, NBC, and statutory regulations.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.
- Familiarity with project planning tools such as MS Project or Primavera is an added advantage.
