We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Cashier/Sales Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing customer transactions accurately, providing excellent service, assisting customers with product selection, and supporting the daily operation of the store.

Key Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and provide helpful, professional service.
- Operate the cash register, point-of-sale system, and payment terminals.
- Process cash, credit/debit card, and other payments accurately.
- Issue receipts, refunds, exchanges, and gift cards in accordance with company policy.
- Assist customers with product inquiries, recommendations, and purchases.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-presented sales area.
- Restock shelves and ensure products are properly displayed and priced.
- Check inventory levels and report shortages or damaged products.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures.
- Handle customer concerns and refer complex issues to the supervisor or manager.




- Follow company policies regarding cash handling, security, health, and safety.
- Support other store duties as required.

Requirements and Qualifications

- Previous cashier, retail, or customer service experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic math and cash-handling abilities.
- Valuable attention to detail and accuracy.
- Positive, friendly, and professional attitude.
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift or move light-to-moderate items.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.
