Job Title: New plant Set-up, Process & Layout Planning of Machine Shop

Job Location: Kharkhoda / Manesar / Gurgaon / Gujarat

Required Qualification: B.Tech in Mechanical/ Industrial/ Production Engineering

Required Experience: 2 – 7 Years

Job Responsibilities:

Process Planning:
Process design with in-process checks for machining of 5C engine components (Crank, Cam, Cylinder Head, Cylinder Block & Case Transmission) for mass production.

·

Facility Planning & set-up:
Preparation of Equipment specification, layouts, procurement of machines involving Techno-commercial evaluation through tendering process, installation & commissioning.

- Design and application of jigs, fixtures, cutting tools and gauges.
- Capacity expansion for existing set-up by Bottleneck identification & elimination by Kaizens & cycle time reduction.
- Current technology introduction for supporting the desirable Manufacturing process in machine shops.
- Proactively Identification of defects/ gaps to design foolproofings in machining process.
- Casting and forging development for engine components.

Technical/ Functional:





- Domain knowledge of manufacturing processes & machining processes involved in 5C components, drawing reading, Knowledge of process quality control parameters and techniques
- Ability to understand technical and commercial requirements for set-up of machine shop & to evaluate alternatives with Cost-benefit analysis
- Hands on experience on equipment / plant set-up related to machine shop for 2-wheeler / 4-wheeler
- Design concepts of CNC machines, its application and programming.
- Knowledge of various types of cutting tools, applications and cutting parameters.
- Familiar with software such as Uni-graphics, Auto-cad, Factory-CAD
- Ability to effectively communicate specific requirements with suppliers and monitor the overall development process at supplier end
