Job Summary
"Job Description and Skill Set:
Required Skills: SAP ABAP / ABAP on HANA
Experience: 10 years
Responsibilities:
At least 10 years of proven experience working in SAP ABAP / ABAP on HANA with 2-3 full lifecycle implementation of SAP S/4HANA migration/rollout projects.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business, related field, or equivalent experience
Hands-on SAP ABAP on HANA is preferred.
Have experience in performing SPAU/SPDD adjustments, adjustment for SOH Violations and adjustments for S4H Violations
Have developed programs in ABAP on HANA using the features of HANA DB in S4H System
Must have hands-on experience of development on BTP platform
Play a crucial role in planning, coordinating, and executing the development activities for SAP S/4 HANA Development / Roll-out / Upgrade / Migration projects.
Good experience in Development management including planning, tracking, reporting, technical development consulting, migration cutover planning etc.
Good SAP process knowledge required for development to work with cross-functional teams in gathering migration requirements and migration rules
Strong planning, problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work with team members and other experts to identify and development related issues. Understanding of business Processes in SAP with proven experience of working as an SAP functional consultant would be a plus.
Must have expert level experience working with ABAP / ABAP on HANA / oDATA etc.
Should be proficient in Business Analysis, Business Knowledge & Technical Solution Design
Prior customer-facing roles to ensure client management is mandatory
Exhibit effective communication, presentation, and people skills along with demonstrated experience working with cross-functional teams, including teams working on interfaces.
Should be a good collaborator, leader to drive the migration team (servant leadership mindset)
Develop appropriate quality checks to support source to development related activities."
Key Responsibilities
1. To architect| design and develop (through Team) solution for product/project & sustenance delivery
2. To support as an SME
3. To ensure knowledge up-gradation and work with new technologies so that the solution is current and meets quality standards and the client requirements
4. To train and develop team so as to ensure that there is an adequate supply of trained manpower in the said technology and deliver risks are mitigated
5.
To gather specifications and deliver solutions to the client organization based on understanding of a domain or technology
6. To review project deliverables.
7. To recommend client value creation initiatives and implement industry best practices (on specific technology/product)
