About Faber Infinite Consulting

Twenty years ago, Faber Infinite Consulting was founded on a single conviction — that every organisation has infinite potential, and the right thinking can unlock it.

Today, that conviction has taken us across three continents — Asia Pacific, Africa, and the Middle East — working with some of the most ambitious organisations in manufacturing, operations, and supply chain. We are a firm where seasoned consultants operate at the intersection of strategy and the shop floor, where frameworks are proprietary and outcomes are measurable, and where client relationships are built on trust earned over years.

Our proprietary frameworks — the Organisational Transformation Framework®, the Lighthouse Exercise®, and Lean Facility Design® — are not borrowed ideas. They are intellectual capital built from two decades of real work with real organisations.

We are a 20+ year legacy firm, a recognised leader in Operational Excellence and Supply Chain consulting across emerging markets, and a name that carries genuine weight in the industries we serve. Small by design. Rigorous by culture. Deeply invested in the people who grow with us.

The Opportunity

The Associate – Business Operations & Support works directly with the Sr. Partner and Co-Founder — sitting at the nerve centre of the practice. You will contribute to proposals, research, digital transformation, client engagement, and strategic operations. You will handle things that matter and learn things that classrooms don't teach.

This is a full-time, work-from-office role. It demands presence, commitment, and the maturity to remain available and responsive beyond standard office hours when the work demands it. In a firm of our standing, that is not an exception — it is a professional baseline.

What You Will Do

1. Proposal & Capability Development

- Draft, structure, and refine consulting proposals, pitch presentations, and capability documents — from a brief, from a conversation, always to a high standard
- Coordinate inputs from across practice areas and format outputs to Faber Infinite's quality expectations
- Maintain a living library of proposals, case studies, credentials, and reusable content modules that reflect the firm's depth and range
- Support preparation of thought leadership content, conference materials, and workshop collateral that reinforce Faber Infinite's positioning

2. Research & Knowledge Development

- Conduct structured desk research on industries, sectors, client organisations, and business challenges — producing outputs that are clean, credible, and decision-ready
- Prepare briefing documents, sector snapshots, competitive intelligence notes, and leadership pre-reads for client engagements
- Track developments in operational excellence, supply chain, and management consulting to continuously sharpen the firm's intellectual edge
- Maintain and grow the firm's internal knowledge repository — frameworks, case references,

sector insights, and content assets

3. Digital Transformation & IT Operations Support

- Work with the Sr. Partner on Faber Infinite's internal digital transformation agenda — tools evaluation, process digitalisation, and platform governance
- Manage and maintain the firm's SharePoint environment, CRM, and digital collaboration platforms; drive team adoption and data hygiene
- Coordinate with IT vendors on system requirements, issue resolution, and upgrades — acting as the internal point of accountability
- Support IT security practices — access management, protocol compliance, and proactive flagging of vulnerabilities in coordination with relevant partners
- Evaluate and champion new digital tools that improve firm-wide productivity and operations

4. Client Engagement & Practice Support

- Maintain the firm's CRM with rigour — tracking outreach, proposals, follow-ups, and client interactions with accuracy and consistency
- Coordinate client communications, meeting logistics, and post-meeting follow-through on behalf of the Sr. Partner
- Support the organisation of client events, workshops, seminars, and Faber Infinite learning programmes
- Track the practice pipeline and proactively surface priorities, deadlines, and key actions to the Sr. Partner

5. Strategic Coordination — Sr. Partner's Office

- Support the Sr. Partner's office in ensuring high-priority work moves forward without friction — preparing tight meeting agendas, pre-reads, and follow-up notes, and tracking decisions to closure
- Assist with coordination requirements as they arise — communications, scheduling, logistics — handled with professionalism and sound judgment
- Handle confidential information with absolute integrity. This is a condition of the role.

6. Internal Operations & Team Coordination

- Coordinate with internal teams to track project timelines, deliverables, and key milestones
- Support internal reviews, leadership meetings, and firm-level events
- Assist with vendor coordination, invoice tracking, and administrative compliance

7. Ad Hoc & Special Assignments

- Take on tasks and initiatives as directed by the Sr. Partner — some planned, others arising without notice
- In consulting, priorities shift. The ability to adapt, respond, and deliver without losing your standards is a permanent requirement of this role, not an occasional one

Who We Are Looking For

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Management, Commerce, or a related discipline
- A degree in Engineering (any discipline) combined with a strong interest in business, operations, or consulting is equally valued
- Fresh MBA graduates with strong credentials and demonstrable initiative are welcome
- 1–2 years of experience in a consulting, corporate strategy,

or senior-level support function is an advantage
- Any graduate with structured thinking, sharp communication, and a genuine hunger to learn will be given serious consideration

Skills & Competencies

- Strong written and verbal communication — the ability to write a sharp briefing note and a polished proposal with equal confidence
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office — PowerPoint, Word, and Excel — at a level that reflects genuine capability
- Working knowledge of SharePoint, CRM platforms (Zoho, Salesforce, or equivalent), and digital productivity tools
- Aptitude for picking up new platforms and systems quickly — comfort with technology matters in this role
- Research orientation — able to gather, filter, and synthesise information from diverse sources into well-structured, actionable outputs
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
- High degree of discretion, professional maturity, and sound judgment
- Willingness to be available and responsive beyond standard office hours when the work demands it
- Ownership of a two-wheeler is practical for this role given local coordination needs

Personal Attributes

- Intellectually curious — about business, about consulting, about how organisations change
- Proactive — you identify what needs to be done before being told, and you follow through without being followed up
- Composed under pressure; adaptable when plans change — and in consulting, they do
- Invested in the quality of your work, not just the completion of it

What You Will Gain

- Joining Faber Infinite in this capacity is not a conventional first step. It is an accelerated one.
- Direct exposure to 20+ years of consulting experience — working alongside a co-founder who has led transformation programmes across Asia Pacific, Africa, and the Middle East
- Real involvement in live consulting work — proposals, research, client engagement, and firm strategy — not simulations or peripheral tasks
- Fluency in digital operations — from CRM to SharePoint to the tools that run a modern, globally active consulting practice
- Access to Faber Infinite's proprietary frameworks — intellectual property built over two decades and deployed with leading organisations across emerging markets
- A name on your CV that carries genuine weight in operational excellence and supply chain consulting circles
- A team that holds itself to high standards — and holds you to them too, because that is how real growth happens

How to Apply

Send your CV along with a brief note — no more than 5–6 lines — on what draws you to this role and why you believe you are the right fit.
