- Supervise the daily operations of the girls' hostel and ensure a secure, clean, and supportive living environment.
- Maintain discipline, hostel rules, and encourage positive behavior among residents.
- Ensure the safety, security, and well-being of all hostel residents at all times.
- Keep accurate records of student attendance, admissions, visitors, leave, and emergencies.
- Coordinate with the NGO management, school/college authorities, and parents regarding students' welfare and progress.
- Monitor cleanliness, hygiene, food quality, and maintenance of hostel facilities.
- Provide guidance, emotional support, and basic counseling to residents, referring serious concerns to appropriate professionals when needed.
- Handle emergencies, health issues, conflicts, and disciplinary matters promptly and responsibly.
- Organize educational, recreational, and life-skills activities that promote personal development and community living.
- Prepare regular reports, manage hostel inventories, and ensure compliance with NGO policies, child protection guidelines, and applicable safety regulations.
