Job Title: Java Developer (Spring Boot) — 4 Years Experience

As a Java Developer on our engineering team, you will contribute to designing and implementing backend services using Spring Boot, collaborating with product teams, and delivering production-grade solutions for clients and internal products.

Location: Gurugram, Haryana, India (On-site)

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain RESTful microservices and backend components using Java and Spring Boot, following best practices for code quality and security.
- Collaborate with product managers, QA engineers, UX designers, and front-end developers to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions and clear API contracts.
- Implement data access layers using JPA/Hibernate, write optimized SQL queries, and integrate with relational and NoSQL datastores as required.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automated unit and integration tests, and participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality deliveries.
- Troubleshoot, profile, and optimize application performance and reliability in staging and production environments.
- Integrate third-party services and external APIs, and implement robust error handling, logging, and monitoring solutions.
- Participate in sprint planning,



estimation, and Agile ceremonies; contribute to architectural discussions and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Mentor junior developers, share knowledge of best practices, and help establish standards for maintainable and testable code.

Required Qualifications

- 4 years of professional software development experience with strong hands-on experience in Java and Spring Boot.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented design, design patterns, and clean coding principles.
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs, API versioning, authentication/authorization (OAuth2, JWT) and input validation.
- Proficient with Spring ecosystem: Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, Spring Security, and Spring Boot configuration.
- Strong relational database skills (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and experience with ORMs (Hibernate/JPA); familiarity with at least one NoSQL database (MongoDB, Redis) is preferred.
- Experience with source control using Git and common branching workflows; familiarity with build tools such as Maven or Gradle.
- Experience writing unit and integration tests using JUnit, Mockito, or equivalent frameworks.
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and exposure to CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) and automated deployment practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science,



Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience designing and operating microservices architectures and event-driven systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms and services (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) including deployment, monitoring, and cost optimization.
- Experience with observability tooling (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK stacks) and distributed tracing (Jaeger, Zipkin).
- Familiarity with container orchestration (Kubernetes) and service mesh concepts.
- Experience with performance tuning, caching strategies, and concurrency optimization.
- Exposure to front-end frameworks (Angular, React) and experience building full-stack features is a plus.
- Previous exposure to domain-driven design (DDD), CI/CD best practices, and automated security scanning tools.
