About the Role
IVY Overseas is looking for a passionate and result-oriented Australia Education Counsellor to guide students in achieving their dream of studying in Australia. If you have strong counselling skills, in-depth knowledge of Australian universities, and a student-first approach, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel students regarding study opportunities in Australia.
- Understand students academic profiles and recommend suitable universities and courses.
- Guide students through the complete admission process, including application submission and offer acceptance.
- Coordinate with universities and internal application teams.
- Assist students with Genuine Student (GS) requirements and visa documentation.
- Maintain accurate records in CRM and ensure timely follow-ups.
- Build strong relationships with prospective students and parents.
- Achieve monthly enrolment and conversion targets while maintaining excellent student experience.
Required Skills
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in Australia education counselling.
- Must have successfully handled and achieved at least 25-30+ Australian student visas in the last 2–3 years.
- Strong knowledge of Australian universities, courses, admissions, scholarships, and visa processes.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and counselling skills.
- Solid follow-up, lead nurturing, ability to convert enquiries into successful enrolments.
- Expertise in conducting Genuine Student (GS) assessments and preparing students for GS interviews in line with Australian student visa requirements.
- Ability to stay updated with changes in Australian immigration policies, university requirements, and industry trends.
