Hiring: Commi Chefs – Kitchen Department

Resort Name: Greenleaf The Resort & Spa, Ganpatipule, 70 Keys

We are looking for passionate and experienced Commi Chefs to join our Kitchen team. Formal hotel-management education is preferred but not mandatory — practical experience, good cooking skills, discipline and willingness to learn are most key.

Open Positions:

- Commi I / Commi II – South Indian & Breakfast: South Indian, Maharashtrian and general breakfast preparation; ability to support breakfast buffet and Hi-Tea.
- Commi I / Commi II – Continental & Pantry: Continental dishes, sandwiches, salads, eggs, snacks, pantry preparations and basic buffet operations.
- Commi II – Bakery: Basic breads, cakes, desserts, bakery preparation and production.
- Commi II – Tandoor: Tandoori dishes, kebabs, Indian breads, marinades and tandoor operations.

Key Responsibilities & Expectations:

- Prepare food as per recipes, portion standards and presentation guidelines.
- Ensure consistent taste, quality, freshness and timely service.




- Complete mise-en-place and support buffet and à la carte operations.
- Follow FSSAI food-safety guidelines, kitchen SOPs, FIFO and proper food storage practices.
- Maintain strict personal hygiene, workstation cleanliness and kitchen sanitation.
- Minimise food wastage and use ingredients responsibly.
- Work well with senior chefs and other kitchen team members.
- Be punctual, disciplined, hardworking and willing to learn.

Experience: Relevant hands-on experience in the respective section; hotel/resort experience preferred.

Location: Ganpatipule, Ratnagiri, Maharashtra
