Designation: Quality Engineer

Experience Level: 5-10 years

Term: Full Time, Permanent

Location: Bangalore (5 Days -Work from Office)

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Quality Engineer with strong expertise in payment systems testing to ensure the quality and reliability of payment applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in manual testing, payment message validation, and SWIFT / ISO 20022 standards.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Perform manual functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing for payment applications and
related systems.
- Validate payment message flows including SWIFT MT/MX messages and ISO 20022 message formats such as
PACS (Payment Clearing and Settlement) and CAMT (Cash Management).
- Review and analyze business and functional requirements to design detailed test scenarios, test cases, and test
data.
- Execute tests to ensure payment processing accuracy, including validation of message transformation,
enrichment, routing, and settlement processes.
- Identify, document, and track defects using defect management tools such as JIRA, HP ALM, or similar tools.
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and support teams to ensure quality deliverables and timely
issue resolution.
- Participate in test planning, test execution, and test closure activities as part of the QA lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with SWIFT and ISO 20022 messaging standards.
- Provide support during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and assist with post-production verification activities





Required Skillls:

- 5–10 years of experience in Manual Testing
- Strong experience in manual testing including functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Experience working with payment systems and banking applications.
- Knowledge of SWIFT MT/MX messages and ISO 20022 standards.
- Experience with defect tracking tools such as JIRA or HP ALM.
- Positive understanding of test case design, test execution, and defect lifecycle management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Equivalent technical degree or relevant certifications in Software Testing / Quality Assurance will also be considered.
- Certifications related to Software Testing (ISTQB) or Payment Systems will be an added advantage.
