Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Production Head to lead and manage end-to-end manufacturing operations. The incumbent will be responsible for production planning, manpower management, productivity improvement, quality compliance, safety implementation, cost optimization, and timely delivery of products while ensuring operational excellence across the manufacturing facility.

The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in heavy fabrication, FRP/Composite manufacturing, process equipment, pressure vessels, industrial products, or engineering manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities

Production Management

- Lead complete shop floor operations and production activities.

- Ensure achievement of daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.

- Monitor manufacturing processes to optimize productivity, quality, and efficiency.

- Develop and implement production schedules in line with customer commitments.

Planning & Resource Management

- Coordinate with Planning, Purchase, Stores, Quality, and Maintenance departments.

- Ensure availability of manpower, machines, materials, and tools.

- Optimize machine utilization and workforce productivity.

- Monitor production KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Team Leadership

- Lead and manage production engineers, supervisors, operators, and contract manpower.

- Conduct performance reviews and skill development programs.





- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence.

Quality & Process Improvement

- Ensure adherence to quality standards, SOPs, and customer requirements.

- Drive Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, 5S, TPM, and Continuous Improvement initiatives.

- Reduce rejection, rework, and production losses through root cause analysis and CAPA implementation.

Safety & Compliance

- Ensure strict compliance with EHS policies and statutory regulations.

- Conduct regular safety audits and toolbox talks.

- Promote a zero-accident culture across the plant.

Cost & Performance Management

- Monitor manufacturing costs and identify cost reduction opportunities.

- Improve OEE, productivity, throughput, and inventory control.

- Prepare and present MIS reports to management.
