Lab Chemist – Anodizing Production

Location: Chakan, Pune

Qualification

- B.Sc. Chemistry / M.Sc. Chemistry
- Diploma in Chemical Engineering
- B.E. Chemical Engineering

Experience

- 2–5 years of experience in an Anodizing Plant (Mandatory) or any Electroplating/Surface Coating Plant
- Hands-on experience in anodizing process control, laboratory testing, and production operations
- Knowledge of chemical analysis, bath maintenance, chemical dosing, and quality control
- Experience in pH analysis, conductivity, titration, coating thickness measurement, and process monitoring
- Knowledge of production planning, process control, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and quality assurance
- Experience in ETP (Effluent Treatment Plant) operations will be an added advantage
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, 5S, Kaizen, and safety practices will be preferred

Key Responsibilities





- Monitor and maintain anodizing/plating chemical baths and process parameters
- Perform routine laboratory testing and chemical analysis
- Support daily anodizing production activities and ensure smooth process flow
- Ensure coating quality, process consistency, and achievement of production targets
- Investigate process-related issues and implement corrective and preventive actions
- Maintain laboratory and production records as per ISO requirements
- Coordinate with the Production, Quality, Maintenance, and ETP teams
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards
- Optimize chemical consumption and improve process efficiency

Pay: ₹9,613.64 - ₹37,234.43 per month
