We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior HR Operations & Payroll Specialist to oversee end-to-end HR operational processes, monthly payroll execution, and employee engagement initiatives. The ideal candidate blends analytical execution (advanced Excel modeling) with employee-centric engagement strategies to create seamless operational workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end monthly payroll processing, statutory compliance, tax deductions, and benefits administration.
- Perform complex HR data analysis, reporting, and dashboard maintenance utilizing Advanced Excel functions.
- Oversee employee lifecycle operations: onboarding, HRIS management, leave & attendance tracking, and exit clearance processes.
- Plan and execute employee engagement programs and culture-building activities across teams.
- Act as the primary point of contact for employee query resolution regarding policies, compensation, and operations.
Key Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: 3 to 4 years of hands-on experience handling payroll operations and general HR engagement.
- Background: Prior experience in a fast-paced startup or Indian unicorn setting.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced Excel skills are mandatory (Nested formulas, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros, and audit checks).
- Compliance Knowledge: Sound understanding of Indian labor laws, PF, ESI, LWF, and payroll taxation.
- Notice Period: Must be able to join within 30 days.
