About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accounts Executive who is eager to learn and build a career in accounting within the travel industry. The ideal candidate should have a positive attitude, good numerical skills, and a willingness to learn accounting processes, GST, and financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in day-to-day accounting activities.
- Record purchase, sales, payment, and receipt entries.
- Maintain vouchers and accounting records accurately.
- Assist in preparing invoices and vendor payments.
- Reconcile bank statements and customer/vendor accounts.
- Support GST documentation and other statutory compliance.
- Maintain expense records and employee reimbursement statements.
- Coordinate with the operations team regarding tour-related financial transactions.
- Organize and maintain financial documents and files.
- Perform other accounting and administrative tasks as assigned.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
- Familiarity with MS Excel and MS Office.
- Good numerical and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Valuable communication and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Tally ERP/Tally Prime or any accounting software is an added advantage.
- Freshers with a keen interest in accounting are encouraged to apply.
