The Assistant Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate accounting records, processing financial transactions, managing statutory compliance, supporting project accounting, and assisting in preparing financial reports. The ideal candidate should possess sound accounting knowledge, proficiency in accounting software, and excellent analytical skills.

Experience

- 1–3 Years
- Freshers with excellent accounting knowledge and software skills may also apply.
- Experience in EPC, Construction, Engineering, Manufacturing, or Infrastructure industries will be preferred.

Qualification

- B.Com
- M.Com

Salary

₹10,000 – ₹320,000 per month

(Salary will be commensurate with experience and skills.)

Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting Operations

- Maintain day-to-day accounting transactions.
- Record Purchase, Sales, Journal, Receipt, and Payment vouchers.
- Prepare and maintain General Ledger accounts.
- Perform Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS).
- Maintain Petty Cash records.
- Process employee reimbursement claims.
- Maintain fixed asset registers.

Accounts Payable & Receivable

- Verify supplier invoices and supporting documents.
- Process vendor payments.
- Generate customer invoices.
- Follow up for customer collections.
- Reconcile customer and vendor ledgers.

GST & Taxation

- Assist in GST reconciliation.
- Support GST Return preparation.
- Maintain GST records.
- Assist in TDS calculations and documentation.
- Coordinate with consultants for statutory compliance.

Project Accounting

- Maintain project-wise accounting records.
- Allocate expenses to respective cost centres.
- Track project expenditure.
- Prepare project expense reports.




- Coordinate with Project Managers regarding financial documentation.

MIS & Reporting

- Prepare Monthly MIS Reports.
- Generate financial reports using Excel.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting.
- Prepare cash flow reports.
- Support management in financial analysis.

Documentation & Compliance

- Maintain proper accounting documentation.
- Organize invoices, purchase orders, work orders, and agreements.
- Support internal and statutory audits.
- Ensure compliance with company accounting policies.

Coordination

- Coordinate with Purchase Department.
- Coordinate with HR & Payroll Team.
- Coordinate with Project Teams.
- Coordinate with Banks, Vendors, Clients, Auditors, and Consultants.

Required Technical Skills

The candidate should have working knowledge of:

- Microsoft Excel (Advanced)

Candidate should have knowledge of:

- EPC Companies
- Construction Companies
