Production Supervisor —Sheet Rubber / ISNR Processing Unit, Ramapuram, Kottayam

About the role

We operate an Sheet Rubber /ISNR (block rubber) processing unit producing technically specified natural rubber. We are looking for a hands-on Production Supervisor to run the shop floor — managing the processing line, the labour team and daily output. Experience: 3–5 years in a rubber processing unit or similar manufacturing setup (candidates with strong operational experience in a crumb rubber/ISNR plant preferred)

Location: Ramapuram, Kottayam

Key responsibilities Production Supervise the full processing line — raw material intake, slab cutting, pre-cleaning, granulation, creping, blending, drying and baling Plan daily and shift-wise production targets and ensure output is met within the required cycle time.

Labour supervision Allocate work, manage shift rosters and maintain attendance records for the labour team Supervise both regular and migrant workers, resolve day-to-day issues and maintain discipline on the floor Train workers on machine operation, correct handling and secure work practices Maintenance,



safety and compliance Carry out daily checks on prebreakers, hammer mills, crepers, shredders, conveyors and dryers; arrange preventive and breakdown maintenance

Maintain production, stock, consumption and despatch registers, and support Rubber Board and pollution control documentation

Requirements Practical, hands-on knowledge of ISNR/block rubber processing and the machinery involved

Ability to lead and get work done from a labour team

Fluency in Malayalam; working knowledge of Hindi is an advantage for supervising migrant workers

Basic computer skills for maintaining daily production records Diploma/degree in engineering, rubber technology or a related field, or equivalent proven plant experience
