BSA Operations Analyst Pune · Full Time · Hybrid

About the Role The BSA Operations Analyst will perform balance sheet reconciliations, support journal entry-related finance assurance activities, and identify process improvement opportunities. The role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to strengthen reconciliation governance and supporting internal and external audit requirements. Success in this role will be measured by the ability to accurately reconcile balance sheets, resolve variances, and implement process enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and support journal entry-related finance assurance activities.
- Prepare and manage reconciliations using BlackLine and relevant finance systems.
- Investigate, resolve, and document variances, discrepancies, findings, and reconciliation outcomes.
- Support internal and external audit requirements by providing explanations and documentation.
- Identify process improvement and automation opportunities within reconciliation and assurance processes.
- Collaborate with finance, control, audit, and operations stakeholders to strengthen reconciliation governance.

Requirements

- University degree with CA, CIMA, MBA, or equivalent professional qualification.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in R2R, balance sheet reconciliation,



BlackLine, SAP, or finance operations.
- Record-to-Report, balance sheet reconciliation, account reconciliation, and journal process knowledge.
- BlackLine reconciliation tool experience and SAP FI-CO / SAP ECC / S/4HANA understanding.
- Understanding of end-to-end finance lifecycle across O2C, P2P, and R2R.
- Strong analytical, reconciliation review, variance investigation, and problem-solving skills.

Positive to Have

- Experience in GBS / SSC, large enterprise finance operations, audit support, or controllership environments.
- Experience in power, oil & gas, Big 4, or shared services background.
