Job Overview:

Price Watch, a Beroe subsidiary, is looking for Analyst – Commodity Pricing professionals to support global commodity intelligence, market research, price forecasting, and supply-demand analysis across the Textile industry, with a focus on raw materials such as cotton, silk, jute, and other traditional and sustainable textile feedstocks.

Job Title: Associate - Commodity Pricing

Category / Domain: Textile Industry

Reporting To: Team Lead

Experience: 0 - 3 years

Location: The job location will be Noida for the first year. After that, you will have the flexibility to work from home

Job Responsibilities:

- The primary responsibility is to perform extensive primary research on the supply-demand-price of the select commodities on a global basis and build forecast models based on the collected information.
- Extraction of information/content extraction through the sources of information (through Primary and secondary research) Identification of various drivers of the commodity under research - cost/demand/price drivers.
- Determination of the economic behaviour of the supply/demand/price of the commodity.
- Identification of experts for the commodity and key extraction of information
- Competitive analysis of major suppliers of the commodity.
- Industry analysis.
- Use of various strategic frameworks to determine competitive positioning.
- Track plant shutdowns and price impacting factors on real-time basis.
- Forecasts - Industry trends and more.
- Impact determination – macroeconomics/logistics/supply chain/disruptions/legislation/taxes on the supply and price of the commodity.
- Providing inputs towards price forecasts – (quantitative information/factors to support the price forecast of the commodity





Job Requirements:

- Ability to effectively operate independently and in a team environment.
- Thorough understanding of the commodity under research. (The production process and other generic technical details of the commodity).
- Strong understanding of textile raw materials such as cotton, silk, jute, and other traditional feedstocks.
- Knowledge of recycled and sustainable textile materials is a strong advantage.
- Familiarity with pricing trends, procurement, and market dynamics.

Qualification:

- Any Graduate with a background in Textile, Textile Technology, Textile Engineering, Textile Chemistry, Apparel, Fashion Technology, or related disciplines.
- Fresh graduates from 2026 and 2025 batches are eligible.
- Candidates with up to 3 years of relevant experience may also apply.

Technical Requirements:

- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
