Associate Product Engineer – Cloud Infra & DevOps

Experience: 0–2 Years

Location: Chennai

Immediate Joiners Preferred

Role Overview

We are seeking an Associate Product Engineer – DevOps with a strong foundation in DevOps practices,

automation, CI/CD, containerization, and cloud operations. The ideal candidate should demonstrate

hands-on exposure to Ansible, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and at least one cloud

platform, along with a willingness to learn and work across multi-cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and maintain Linux-based environments across development and production.
- Write automation scripts using Python or Bash to streamline deployments and operations.
- Build and support CI/CD pipelines for reliable build, test, and release workflows.
- Deploy and manage applications using Docker and Kubernetes in cloud environments.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Ansible for scalable infrastructure.
- Configure monitoring, logging, and alerting using standard observability tools.
- Ensure security, performance, reliability, and high availability of applications.
- Troubleshoot production issues and collaborate within an Agile engineering team.
- Support deployment, configuration, and integration across release cycles.
- Contribute to basic backend or scripting utilities using Python; Flask or Django is a plus.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Hands-on foundational knowledge in DevOps tools and workflows including CI/CD,

containerization, and automation.

- Practical exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Ansible through projects,

internships, or academic work.

- Basic Python programming knowledge: familiarity with Flask or Django is an advantage.
- Experience with at least one cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and willingness to

learn multi-cloud environments.

- Understanding of Linux systems, networking fundamentals, Git-based version control,

monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting.

- Strong problem-solving mindset, ownership attitude, and eagerness to learn.
- Advanced cloud or DevOps certifications are an added advantage.

Nice to Have

- Exposure to REST APIs, databases (PostgreSQL or MongoDB), or backend service

configuration.

- Familiarity with observability, performance monitoring, or reliability engineering practices.
- Internship or real-world project experience in DevOps, cloud, or backend environments.
